National Safety Council

With purpose driven results, I serve the National Safety Council as both a Delegate and Vice Chair of the Women's Division — roles that place me at the forefront of one of the most respected and influential safety organizations in the country.

The National Safety Council is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization with a mission to eliminate preventable deaths and injuries in the workplace, on the road, and in homes and communities across the United States. I am honored to represent that mission at the leadership level.

As a Delegate, I participate in the governance and direction of the NSC, bringing the voice of frontline safety experience to national conversations that shape policy, best practices, and the future of the profession.

In my role as Vice Chair of the Women's Division, I work alongside a dynamic network of safety professionals to advance the visibility, leadership, and impact of women within the safety field.  I help lead and support engagement activities designed to foster meaningful connections among members and will hosts open forums — creating space for honest, collaborative dialogue on the issues that matter most to safety professionals today.

My work within the NSC reflects my belief that safety is strengthened when diverse voices are heard, included, and empowered to lead. Through every forum I facilitate and every initiative I support, I am working to build a safety community that is more connected, more equitable, and more effective.

National Association of Women In Construction

As Safety Chair and Committee Member of the National Association of Women in Construction - Sac Valley Chapter, I bring both passion and purpose to one of the industry's most important conversations — keeping people safe on the job.

NAWIC is a national organization dedicated to strengthening and expanding the role of women in the construction industry, and I am proud to serve in a leadership capacity that directly aligns with my life's work. In my role as Safety Chair, I lead the chapter's safety initiatives, develops resources and programming for members, and champions a culture where safety awareness is not an afterthought — it is a foundation.

As a committee member, I collaborate with fellow industry professionals to elevate safety standards, share best practices, and advocate for the well-being of workers at every level of the trades. I believe that women in construction have a unique and powerful voice in shaping the future of workplace safety — and she is committed to using hers.

Her involvement with NAWIC reflects the same values that define her professional practice: every person who steps onto a job site deserves to be protected, respected, and supported.

Hike for Hope 2026

The Safety Advocate participated in the first annual Hike for Hope in Sacramento.  This event spreads awareness and promotes prevention in construction suicides… the #1 killer in the industry I serve.  It was at the beautiful River Bend Park in Sacramento and sponsored by Phase 3 Construction.  

For more than three decades, I have been deeply rooted in the construction industry, and over the past eight years, my work in safety has strengthened my belief that every community thrives when its workers are protected, supported, and valued.  My involvement in local initiatives is driven by a genuine commitment to improving the well‑being of the people who build, maintain, and sustain our communities every day.

My community engagement focuses on promoting worker health, mental wellness, and safety education. Whether I’m providing training, participating in local events, or supporting organizations, my goal is always the same: to make a positive, lasting impact. I am passionate about advocating for psychological safety, reducing stigma around mental health, and ensuring that every worker has access to the resources they need to thrive both on and off the job.

I am proud to contribute to a stronger, safer, and more connected community — one where every person’s well‑being is recognized as essential to our collective success.
